Details of 2 Day Hands-on Course
Prescribing Michigan Occlusal Splints in the management and treatment of restorative cases is fundamental for success. Their use is beneficial for prevention, therapeutic and diagnostic approaches that can aid a clinician and therefore is regarded as a valuable tool in one’s armamentarium.
This comprehensive practical two day ‘hands-on’ course will discuss aspects of the indications of use, practical design and clinical and laboratory steps required to fabricate and fit these appliances. The focus of the programme is that the clinical procedures will be carried out by the course participants such that all delegates will familiarise themselves with these procedures and also take home their own fitted splint. The aim of the course is that course participants will come away feeling more confident to be able to implement what they have learnt over the two day programme into their clinical practice.
